Debris left after two semi-tractor trailers collided on Interstate 70 east of Silverthorne, resulting in one rollover.

Colorado authorities closed a portion of westbound I-70 on Monday morning for a two semi truck collision. The crash occurred shortly after 7 a.m. on Monday, January 9, on westbound I-70 near the Eisenhower Tunnel. According to Summit Fire & EMS, “a semi-tractor/trailer lost its brakes coming down toward Silverthorne … and collided with a second truck, which overturned.”
