Boulder Creek wildfire north of Silverthorne was ignited by lightning, agency says (Summit Daily News)

A Sept. 6 wildfire near Boulder Creek north of Silverthorne was caused by lightning, according to fire investigators with the Upper Colorado River Interagency Fire Management Unit. That agency, along with Summit Fire & EMS, Summit County Sheriff’s Office, Red, White & Blue Fire Protection District and the Forest Service, responded to the fire. Read more ...
