2024 Oct 11 update
Mitch McKay, the assistant project manager for Hyder Construction at our new Silverthorne fire station reports that last week, crews made good progress pouring in light pole bases and bollards, with curb and gutter next on deck. Roofing activities resumed, with standing seam panels set to go up mid next week and solar panels following. Framing on the building interior is nearly complete, and gas-line welding is wrapping up, which will all for temporary heat -- critical for work through the winter. Siding and stone veneer work continued, giving the building its final aesthetic, which will be complimented by installation of the roof panels next week.
