Sidewalk pour at Summit Fire & EMS Fire Station No. 10 in Silverthorne

Our friends at Hyder Construction reported that they had a very productive week of work on our new fire station in Silverthorne. The building is looking much different with the overhead bay doors and ground-floor windows installed, in addition to all of the site concrete and the roof being placed! Ongoing this week were indoor rough-in activities, installation of roof panels, additional stone veneer work, and attaching siding.

This is the snowmelt zone on the apron outside the engine bay.
And this is the same snowmelt zone covered in creamy, smooth delicious concrete. Makes you just want to sign your name and leave your handprints, like on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!
Looking spiffy with the new bay doors!
